“As the Director of the Bloomfield Recreation Department I was looking for artwork for the front foyer of the Civic Center. It needed to be vibrant and welcoming all while portraying the rich history of our community. I was able to give Gabriela a few concepts and she ran with it. The artwork speaks for itself and is always a conversation piece for all who visit our building. I particularly love how she incorporated our Mission Statement on the back of an old post card, even changing the postmark to the date our department was formed. It’s those subtle details that sets Gabriela apart from the rest.”
