While we submit all of our sites to the major search engines, if you wish to rank higher in the results, for an additional fee, we also offer advanced ongoing search engine optimization that helps to ensure better placement in search results.

Although you are always welcome to schedule a meeting in person with your designated Design Coordinator whenever you’d like, it is not necessary by any means.
Rest assured that any materials, ideas, or concerns can be shared over the phone, email, or live web-based video conferencing just as easily as they can in person. When you work with Brainy Beaver, you will maintain a close relationship with your personal Design Coordinator throughout the design process.
Quote Calculator
The first step for any web design project is to fill out our online quote calculator. This process takes about 20 minutes, and provides you with a free, on-the-spot price quote for your project.
Free Consultation
Next, you’ll schedule a free phone consultation with a Brainy Beaver Design Coordinator. This is the person with whom you’ll be working throughout the creative process.
They will review your project with you, and ensure that the information you’ve inputted into the quote calculator is accurate. Once your quote is reviewed and approved, it is guaranteed, meaning you will know all your costs up front. There will be no additional fees for your project unless you decide to add new elements to the scope of work.
Once you and your Design Coordinator are confident that you are on the same page, you can decide to get started right away, or if you decide that you need more time to think about it, your quote is guaranteed for up to 60 days and you can call back any time to get started.
Content Gathering
At this time, we’ll ask you to provide us with any existing content (i.e. logos, page text, pictures, videos, etc.) that you wish to include in your site. Any existing promotional materials, like business cards or brochures will also be helpful if you have them to provide.
Theme Selection
WordPress websites are built using themes, of which there are hundreds of thousands to choose from. Based on your phone consultation and your project requirements, your designer will narrow these choices down to the three best options for you.
Once a theme is approved, and a deposit payment (equal to one-third of the quoted cost, plus the first month of hosting) has been made, your project will move on to the next step in the process.
Initial Design
At this time, your theme license will be purchased, and your theme will be installed and configured.
The top navigation menu will be customized, and the initial page layouts will be mocked up for your review. We will use place-holders for any missing content, filling in the actual content once it has been created.
As with any creative process, it is to be expected that modifications may be needed to get the design just right for you. If you would like to make any changes to the layout of any page, you may request revisions at this time.
Once you are 100% happy with what you see, you will approve the design layout, make a second deposit payment (equal to one-third of the quoted cost), and move your project to the next design stage.
Content Generation
Once you have approved the basic layout, we will make a list of any missing content (text, pictures, videos, logos, etc.) that need to be gathered or created.
Content Placement
Once all content has been created or provided, and has been paid, we will work to bring your design to life, incorporating any previously missing pictures, text, or other content.
Design Review
You’re website is now a complete website, with all the content in place. You’ll have an opportunity now to review the site and request any minor changes before launch.
Minor changes include changes to design elements such as replacing or relocating existing images, media or text.
Minor changes do not include the creation of new pages, features or functionality, or any changes that require a web developer to code – though if these changes are necessary we are happy to discuss what these changes might cost.
Final Approval
Once your requested changes have been made, you will have one last opportunity to review the site and ensure that everything is to your liking. This is your final approval of the completed website, so be sure to voice any concerns at this time.
Website Launch
Once payment for any remaining balance has been cleared, your site will go live for the world to see!
After Sales Support
After your website has been launched, you are covered for 30 days for any minor changes (such as typos) that may need to be made.
After 30 days, website update support is still available at our standard hourly rate of $55 per hour.
Because no two projects are alike, it is difficult to say with certainty until the initial consultation has taken place and we have a better idea of the scope of the project. That said, projects are typically completed within four to six weeks after initial consultation.
Rush order projects are available for an additional fee. Rates vary depending on the scope of work.
Typically, our biggest delays occur while awaiting content or information from our clients. If you provide us with all requested materials, design approvals, and pertinent information in a timely manner, then we promise you’ll be up and running as quickly as is possible for your particular project.

In addition, we’d like to know if you have any existing promotional materials (though we can certainly work from scratch for non-established businesses), as well as any new materials that you might like incorporated into your new design. Examples include:

Most of our clients provide their own text, but if you’d prefer, we have professional writers with marketing experience that can be hired to create text for $0.25 per word.
We can certainly work with your existing address, provided you are the legal owner.
Sure! Many clients come to us with existing sites that, for one reason or another, are ineffective. Poorly maintained sites are often in need of information updates, and poorly constructed sites may have design related problems, or even dead links.
Having a bad website is worse than having no website at all. Customers see your site as a reflection of your company. If you don’t care about your business, why should they?
We can either work to improve upon your original design, or create a new design using the best elements from your original site.
Definitely! We will work with any pre-existing material you may have. We think it’s important to maintain consistency of image.
Also – if you currently have only printed materials, we can convert any printed media to digital format for use on the web.
That said, it is often the case that clients bring us media that is outdated or low resolution. If this is the case, we can also help modernize the images that you like with ones that better fit your new design.
Absolutely! We’re a one-stop shop that can handle everything, including domains, hosting, design, implementation, updates, maintenance, SEO and marketing.
No, hosting with Brainy Beaver is not required. You are welcome to host with whomever you prefer, but there are many benefits to hosting with Brainy Beaver, including: Fast Speeds, Discounted Website Design, 24/7 Monitored Security, 99.9% Uptime, Website Reports, and Generous Discounts on Brainy Beaver Computer Services.
We are not a printing company, but we can help find the right option for your needs. We’ve worked with many companies and each has their own strengths and weaknesses.
We’d be happy to help you find a professional grade printing service for: Mailers, Flyers, Brochures, Business Cards, Stationary, T-Shirts, Caps, Magnets, Mugs, and more.
We currently accept payments by cash, check, PayPal, and any of the major credit cards.
Though we are not able to offer work on credit, we do bill in three installments instead of one bulk sum, and we offer some of the lowest rates in the industry.
As always, we charge by the project – not by the hour, and there are no surprise fees.
